Lunda Construction Awarded Three Projects Valued at $319 Million

SYLMAR, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), a leading civil and building construction company, today announced that its subsidiary, Lunda Construction Company, has recently been awarded three projects in Wisconsin and Minnesota collectively valued at approximately $319 million. These contracts will be included in the Company’s reported third-quarter backlog.

Phase 1 – Zoo Interchange, I-94/US 45, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Contract value: approximately $198 million (Lunda’s portion: approx. $60 million)
Owner: Wisconsin Department of Transportation
Scope: Lunda is part of a three-member joint-venture team that will construct the first phase of the Zoo Interchange, consisting of 14 bridges, 21 retaining walls, 11 noise walls, along with other miscellaneous structures. Construction is expected to begin in October 2014 with substantial completion expected in June 2016.

Highway 610 Completion to I-94, Maple Grove, Minnesota
Contract value: approximately $81 million
Owner: Minnesota Department of Transportation
Scope: Design-build project consisting of the construction of nine bridges, three miles of four-lane freeway, the Maple Grove Parkway interchange, and 3,600 feet of new frontage road. Construction is expected to begin in September 2014 with substantial completion expected in October 2016.

US 10/WIS 441 near Menasha, Wisconsin
Contract value: approximately $40 million
Owner: Wisconsin Department of Transportation
Scope: Construction of a 22-span bridge over Little Lake Butte Des Morts along with other miscellaneous structures which are part of an ongoing upgrade of the WIS 441 corridor. Construction is expected to begin in September 2014 with substantial completion expected in November 2016.
