History

Lunda Construction Company was founded in 1938, with a business focus on transportation projects. In those early years, small crews built small box culverts and bridges with 3/4 yard Quickway Trucks, P & H Cranes, and small Oshkosh trucks. Lunda saw its largest growth starting in 1956 with the advent of the Interstate Highway Program, and has continued to pursue and build transportation and civil infrastructure projects.

Today Lunda's business consists of four operating divisions: Bridges, Railroad, Pipeline, and Specialty Services. We have grown from a small local builder to an award-winning national contractor.

Although the equipment and the projects have grown in size, Lunda's mission remains the same: to safely deliver excellence in construction services, to connect people to the places, services and things they need, and to have a positive impact on the communities where we live and work.
