The Sabal Trail Transmission project is located across seven counties in central Florida. Since the pipeline went through swamp and marsh areas that could not be conventionally excavated, Lunda was contracted to install temporary sheet pile using their innovative and cutting edge pipeline construction capabilities.

Lunda was also contracted to install 14” square concrete piles to support the new compressor and meter stations along the pipeline. Due to the subgrade rock present, Lunda had to predrill the pile locations to allow for concrete pile installation.
