This project was a 5.5 mile pavement resurfacing and bridge rehabilitation/replacement contract including two twin 18 span deck replacements over the Fox River, two complete structure replacements over local streets, and concrete masonry overlays on 22 bridges.

Primary quantities included 17,600 CY of concrete, 1,800 tons of reinforcing steel, 5,600 lf of concrete barrier wall and 24,000 lf of piling.  The special provisions for the project had strict requirements for lead paint/asbestos collection and abatement, invasive aquatic species and maintaining bike and pedestrian traffic on the Fox River Trail beneath the structure that serves the Heritage Hill State Park.

The project required extensive barge/water work to facilitate the demolition over this navigable waterway.
