The special provisions for the project had strict requirements for lead paint/asbestos collection and abatement, invasive aquatic species and maintaining bike and pedestrian traffic on the Fox River Trail beneath the structure that serves the Heritage Hill State Park.
The project required extensive barge/water work to facilitate the demolition over this navigable waterway.
