Lunda Lands 2 Highway Jobs for a Combined $101M

BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis.--(CONSTRUCTION DIVE)--Tutor Perini subsidiary Lunda Construction will be on the road in Minnesota this summer as it works on two new highway jobs.

The Black River Falls, Wisconsin-based contractor has won a $67.2 million contract for the I-94 and I-394 Interchange project in Minneapolis, according to Tutor Perini. The parent company also announced that Lunda has secured a $34 million job for work on Highway 169 in Jordan, Minnesota, about 35 miles from Minneapolis.

The I-94/I-394 Interchange project includes repairing 34 bridges and ramps along the roadways between downtown Minneapolis and Highway 100, according to Tutor Perini. The scope also includes maintenance work on the Dunwoody Boulevard ramp, replacing the deck for the Penn Avenue bridge that crosses over I-394 and other improvements along I-394.
