As a service to our railroad partners the Heavy Highway Bridge Division has formed a Railroad Group designed to specifically handle railroad work.

With over 40 skilled employees involved in the management and operations of railroad construction, Lunda has demonstrated its ability to handle every project presented. From emergency work to scheduled construction projects, our staff is ready to serve.

Our management and supervisory staff is supported by over 400 skilled operators, carpenters and laborers that have been trained in "On-Track" Safety to make assignments on short-term work easier and safer.

One of our many strengths at Lunda is our ability to provide creative, alternative value engineering ideas which reduce the cost of construction to our railroad partners.

Our value engineering concepts have already created significant financial benefits. On past projects where Lunda was awarded the projects based on "Low Bid" results, the customer was invoiced not the bid amount, but the actual cost of the project. This has amounted to significant cost savings to the railroad involved and was done to exhibit the intent of a true partnership.

Our emergency response work, as well as our other service work, has received the same value-added attention and pricing as our bid work.
